As you can see the Meta website is having a 'facelift'!! Yes we are currently constructing a beautiful new designed website and that's why you're reading this. By the time of the NEXT Meta website update we will have our shiny new website. In the meantime I'm afraid that it means that this month you will not be able to access the normal Community updates (Home or Meta Spirit), none of the links on this temporary page will work.
We do however have some extra special news, that we do want to share with you! We have a NEW META EVENT that we would LOVE you to come to. So please do read on!!
During the last 8 years, Meta has met some extraordinary people. We have amassed friends from all over the business community, and at all levels within organisations, whom we believe have amazing talents and skills in leadership and management. We've always thought that it was an incredible talent pool and knowledge library that could be used for good in the business world…
So to harness this incredible resource and share it with you, our friends, in June we are going to launch a series of days where you get to meet and share your amazing stories and best practice in a workshop environment.
The days will be led around a topic (say Leadership, Business Ethics or Change -or as we prefer to call it, 'Evolution'), with the group being made up of leaders and managers from the range of organisations that have been in touch with Meta.
The first day will be called THE CHALLENGES OF LEADING A 21st CENTURY ORGANISATION sustaining excellent leadership in difficult times. It will be held on Fri.27th June and the details are listed below!
Our aim is to create a network of like-minded people and explore what a truly 21st century organisation might be like, and how a 21st organisation lives, works, breathes and evolves in a truly sustainable way.

*note on the suggested price. We ask for a £50 deposit in advance to reserve your place, then our new 'honesty pay system' kicks in. The full rate for the day is £200+VAT, but we leave it to you to pay what you think the day is worth, (or what your company can afford) and that is what we will invoice you for. We hope this means that whatever size of your organisation you will be able to join us on this day.
Do organisations today really want leaders? In the 21st century organisation leadership is essential, and in this one day facilitated workshop we will look at what makes a truly excellent leader, and look at the qualities and skills that are required in order to sustain excellent leadership even in a business that is constantly evolving. How do you maintain good leadership practice when the business around you is making impossible demands of you? How do you encourage others to become leaders?
Using live issues from you, the attendees we will look to explore this topic, and together come up with our version of what a truly excellent leader is like.
We will also look at what stops us being excellent leaders and come up with ways of overcoming obstacles to leadership that exist in current business practice.
Then using the latest research on leadership and with the incredible resource of knowledge and wisdom within the group itself, we will explore how we can stay excellent leaders even in the most difficult of times, in the most pressurised business environments.
We think that this is a great way to find like-minded leaders, and realise that you are not alone in this world! We'd like these days to become a network of some of the finest minds in the business world, people who it has been our great pleasure and honour to meet in our work with Meta through the years.
